Privacy Policy

What we collect

The data we keep is intentionally minimal:

• Email address — required to deliver picks and account communication.
• Subscription metadata — Stripe customer ID, subscription status, billing period dates. We do not see or store your card number; Stripe handles all payment data.
• Basic usage logs — IP address, browser, page visits — collected by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and abuse prevention. Not used for advertising.

How we use it

• To deliver the daily picks email and any account communication.
• To bill you on your subscription cycle.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.
• To improve the model based on aggregate, anonymized performance data.

We do not sell your data. We do not run ad networks. We do not share your email with third parties for marketing.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted vendors to operate Leadoff:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — application hosting
• Turso (or equivalent) — database hosting
• MLB Stats API, Open-Meteo, The Odds API — data sources for the model

Each of these has its own privacy policy. We share with them only the minimum needed to deliver the service to you (e.g. your email goes to Resend so it can send you mail).

Cookies

Leadoff uses a single first-party cookie (or localStorage item) to remember your age-gate confirmation and which pages you've visited within a session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can:

• Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
• Request that we delete your account and associated data.
• Cancel your subscription at any time.

Children

Leadoff is not intended for anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Changes

We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we change anything material.
